Buying

All artworks are original paintings. Every effort is made to provide high quality photographs of the artwork. However, your own computer/phone/tablet and its settings may have some small effect on what you see. Slight inconsistencies are not a valid reason for return.

Payments are taken through Stripe in US Dollars, which accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Apple Pay. Your receipt will show “Sarah Young Art” or “SYArt”. Sarah Young Art does not store your payment details. Most communication is handled via email, and we ask for your phone number in case there are questions or delays regarding shipping.

Due to the variation in decoration preferences, tastes, wall space, existing art in the space, etc., all works are sold unframed at this time.

Shipping

Please allow at least two weeks for your painting to be shipped. Paintings are usually varnished just before shipment, and it takes time to dry. If there will be a delay, you will be contacted.

Sales and shipping are only being made to the U.S. at this time, and there is no extra charge for shipping.

Caring

Please follow these guidelines to care for your painting:

  • Unwrap your painting immediately upon receipt to prevent any material from adhering to the surface over time.

  • Never mount oil paintings under glass.

  • Do not store or hang paintings in damp environments or extreme temperatures.

  • Do not hang paintings in direct sunlight.

  • Lightly dust the painting with a soft bristled, dry brush. Do not use any soaps or chemical cleaners.

  • Do not hang paintings in rooms where it may receive smoke or soot damage (e.g., fireplaces or cigarettes).

Returns

All artwork is carefully wrapped to minimize the possibility of damage. If an item should arrive damaged, please submit photographs of the damaged painting and damaged packaging within 3 days of receipt.

If the painting is not as expected, please contact me by email within 7 days of receipt to discuss a refund. Once a return has been agreed upon, you are responsible for shipping the painting; and I must receive it in pristine condition before I can issue a refund.
